Together Towards Global Reach through the Collaboration of ASMINDO and GGS at IFFINA+ 2025

Indonesia's furniture industry remains resilient despite global challenges such as recession, protectionism, and regional conflicts. As of June 2025, exports reached USD 1 billion (growing by 7.2%), while imports surged to USD 857 million, potentially threatening the domestic market. IFFINA+ 2025 emerges as a strategic moment to strengthen competitiveness and expand market reach.

Dr. Ir. Dedy Rochimat, M.M., Chairman of ASMINDO, emphasized that Indonesian furniture is more than just a product — it is a creation infused with cultural, historical, and creative value. "Our furniture and crafts are not merely functional objects, but creations rich in cultural significance, history, and the creativity of skilled local artisans," he stated in his IFFINA+ 2025 speech. The transformation of IFFINA+ to also cover the hospitality, kitchen, and bathroom sectors is seen as a vital step to expand business opportunities and enhance Indonesia’s position in the global market.

At the end of his speech, Dr. Ir. Dedy Rochimat, M.M., Chairman of ASMINDO, delivered a message of unity: “We can, if we work. We can, if we are together. We can, if God is with us.” This spirit aligns with the commitment of Gema Graha Sarana (GGS), a provider of interior solutions that prioritizes innovation, quality, and sustainability. With its experience and expertise, GGS not only supports the resilience of the national furniture industry but also delivers interior solutions that blend functionality, aesthetics, and the cultural identity of Indonesia. Through this approach, GGS actively contributes to strengthening the image of Indonesian furniture and interior design to gain greater recognition in the global market.
